3 Steps to Worship

** O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. ** Psalm 34:3

1-2-3

** I will bless the LORD at all times…**

**…the humble shall here thereof and be glad.**

**…let us exalt his name together.**

Can you see the progression?

If I choose to bless and praise the Lord ….others will hear and it will encourage their hearts…then all of us together will praise Him as one voice. As we praise our God, it grows into a chorus of joy. It’s a supernatural chain reaction.

It happened at the rebuilding of Jerusalem in the book of Ezra.

**And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.**

In 1 Chronicles 16 David gives Asaph a Psalm to sing in front of the nation of Israel…and there reply is…

**Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord.**

When we give thanks to God for all the good that He has done for us personally and for His people, it sparks the hearts of others to do the same. Songs of praise is one of the easiest ways to get that chain reaction started.

But also Philemon tells us

**…that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. **

When we let others know what the LORD has done for us, in strengthens their faith in what He can do for them.

When we have a need and we put it before the Lord and He answers us with a yes, or no, it is our responsibility to share that answer with others. It will motivate them to put more areas of their lives in the Lord’s hands. It will help them to remember that they should be sharing their answers as well. Which will all result in more praise for God.

But we also talked about acknowledging…**every good thing which is in you**….like Philemon tells us.

How are we different than before the Lord saved us? What changes have occurred in our hearts, our attitudes, our perspective, our activities, our habits….??? ** every good thing which is in you**

If the Lord has changed your temper, tell others what He did.

If the Lord has changed your finances, tell others what He did.

If the Lord has changed your misery to inner joy, tell others what He did.

Because that is the gospel. Share what the Lord has done for you and then tell them how.

He gave you a new outlook on life…because of the cross of Jesus Christ-like Paul, the Apostle, told so many across Europe and Asia.. First, he told them about the road to Damascus and then He told them about the cross.

It’s not hard to get the chain reaction going. Just take the first step. Today, tomorrow and every day. Tell somebody the amazing things that the Lord has done and is doing in your life. Then tell them what the turning point was.

The Cross. The Unconditional Love and Sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

You will love being a part of the chain!
