** Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.** John 2:23
Signs and miracles… these are words that describe the acts of Jesus Christ when He walked here on Earth.
There was the water that was turned into wine, the loaves and fishes that fed thousands, and the dead that He raised, to mention a few.
While He lived here, experiencing the presence of the power of the Holy Spirit, He did great things. He did more miracles than any other prophet. He touched thousands of lives. He healed many people from their illnesses and handicaps. All of this while occupying a human body, accompanied with the limitations of time and space.
Just imagine what He can do for you today, from His throne in heaven, without those limitations, in perfect harmony with the Father and Holy Spirit!
Do we approach God with this same understanding of Christ’s power in the middle of our problems? Do we remember those miracles and His earthly power when we face our own trials? Do we remember that the Father has given Him all power in heaven and on Earth? Do we realize that what we know of Jesus’ miracles on Earth is just a small representation of all that He did?
Whatever our worries or burdens are today, we should draw near to Him in prayer with the confidence that He can do all things that we ask of him. His power to answer us is not limited like it was 2 millennials ago. I cannot promise that He will give us exactly as we ask because we have to consider that His will and ours may not be in sync. But if you have a promise from Him, from His Word, then all you have to do is wait for His timing. Because with God ALL things are possible!!
