Why? Why? Why? Why? Do you have as many whys as I do? Why are there so many problems in the world? Why doesn’t God just clean everything up? Why can I never get ‘it’ right? Why do people do stupid things? Why am I terrible at making decisions? Why do bad things happen to good people? etc.etc.etc.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
That’s the only answer I ever come up with. Faith, and when that fails, get some more faith. Because faith isn’t only believing that there is a happy ending to all of this mess, but also trusting that what is happening in the here and now is part of God’s big picture. When things get scary, have faith. When things fall apart, have faith. Not couch potato faith. But real faith. Get up and do something about it faith!! Get up and try again faith. Go out and share your faith, faith. Hug someone who is hurting faith. Walk along side someone who is running out of steam faith. Forgive and start over faith. Do some research and do a better job next time faith. That’s all I’ve got, ladies. Faith. Faith that God is who He says He is. And He will do what He promised to do. So when nothing is going your way, grab a hold of your faith!!!
