A Love Fest

** He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. ** 1 John 1:8

** But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, ** Ephesians 2:4

** Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. ** 1 John 4:7

Pure love is complete acceptance. It is unconditional. It has no judgment or condemnation. It is kind and considerate and patient with the flaws in ourselves and of others.

Pure love rejoices in someone else’s victories and achievements. It is not jealous or envious or spiteful. It is generous and ready to help even at great cost to self. It is humility, grace and mercy personified. It seeks peace in every situation.

Pure love does not look for pity or attention, it thinks the best of others, it is ready to forgive, it believes in good.

Pure love is Jesus Christ. …**For love is of God**…**God is love**…It is His **Great love**….He IS …Great Love….

Heaven is a Love Fest. Because God is there. The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are there.

Heaven is filled with Love. It permeates every moment. It embraces each of us the second we arrive.

We will be bathed in His overwhelming love. We will know Love like we never knew it before. Everything we do in Heaven, everything we see will be permeated with His Love. His Love will never end, not ever it is everywhere.

** But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. ** 1 Corinthians 2:9

God’s Love is so much more than we can write about. It is deeper, more impacting, more permeating than anything we can describe.

Our life here is a learning time about His Love. It is a practice time for us to be like Him. To Love as deeply and as sacrificially as He loves us. To love like Jesus loves with our families, with the brethren, at school, at work, and with our neighbors.

I wonder what kind of impact we could have if we loved like Jesus loves. Unconditionally and without condemnation. I wonder if we could turn the world upside down again like they did in the Book of Acts.

A Love Fest. Filled with joy and singing and acceptance and peace. Who wouldn’t want to live there forever?
